Q. What are the minimum PC requirements to run Advantage Language?
A. P.C. Pentium 166Mhz, 64MB RAM, 8x CD-ROM, and Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP/Vista

Q. Will Advantage Language work on Mac?
A. No, this program is not designed to run on a Macintosh OS.

Q. How do I change my keyboard layout to another language?
A. To show the Language Bar (using Classic view in the Control Panel):

  1. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Regional and Language Options.
  2. On the Languages tab, under Text services and input languages, click Details.
  3. Under Installed Services select Add. Choose the language you are learning and click OK.
  4. Under Preferences, click Language Bar.
  5. Select the Show the Language bar on the desktop check box.
  6. Using the Language bar, you can now switch between English and your new language.

Q. How do I install the WordPoint software?
A. Download the file to your desktop. Once downloaded click on WordPoint2000 and follow the prompts to begin installation. The WordPoint serial number is: 432 809 600 355 545. When you are asked to select the default user interface language, select English. On the following page, you will be asked to select the default dictionary from the list. Select the language you are learning and then English. For example, if you are learning Spanish, select Spanish/English, for German select German/English, for French select French/English, or for Italian select Italian/English. Continue following prompts to complete the installation.

Q. How do I uninstall the WordPoint software?
A. If you are having trouble uninstalling WordPoint, please try the following steps:

  1. Close all other programs on your desktop
  2. Locate the red and blue icon in the lower right corner of your desktop
  3. Right click once on the icon to bring up the program options.
  4. Click on exit.
  5. Next go to add/remove program. This will be located in your control panel.
  6. Select the WordPoint icon, to highlight it.
  7. The click on remove.
