As a career software entrepreneur, Co-Founder, Steve Resch had a strong desire to learn a second language but found the products available in North America to be both difficult to use and ineffective. Realizing that many Americans struggled with the same issue, Steve made it his personal mission to source the easiest and most effective language software in the world.
In 2004, Steve launched a worldwide search for a language education software solution that would fill the void in the U.S. marketplace. After an exhaustive 6 month journey leading Steve through North America, Asia, the Middle East and Europe, he found what he was looking for - 5,700 miles away from Flagstaff. A mutual business associate introduced Steve to a man named Pavel Zika who possessed a little-known secret hidden amongst the cobblestone streets of Prague, Czech Republic.
Among the most visited cities in Europe and considered by many to be the most beautiful, Prague is now inundated with over 7 million tourists annually. Since the 1.4 million residents of Prague speak Czech as their native language, it has become imperative for them to be proficient in multiple languages in order to embrace and communicate with the visitors that outnumber them. The language prowess that currently exists among Prague residents can be largely attributed to Pavel Zika's technology.
Excited about his discovery, Steve reached an agreement with Pavel to license the LANGMaster software in the North America and use it as a cornerstone in the Advantage Language learning system. By combining Pavel's innovative software technology with conventional audio lessons, Steve achieved his goal of creating a truly effective language solution for the U.S. marketplace.
